What is the Pre Production Inspection?

Pre-production Inspection (PPI) is conducted after identification and evaluation of vendor/factory and placing an order to the factory before mass production.

Pre Production Inspection aims to make sure supplier and factory understand your requirements and the specifications of your order are well prepared for its production, verifying your supplier is able to start the production on schedule. It allows you to identify quality risk before manufacturing components, it is an integral part of your risk assessment and quality assurance management.
